Live chat is the best feature you can add to your blog. This helps visitors on your site to do a direct live chat with you. It helps the visitors to solve any problems instantly. You might have seen a small message box logo located on the bottom left side of many websites/blogs. So today I will show to add such a message button on your blogger site.

To add a live chat feature to the blogger site you have to follow the below steps.


#Step1: Sign Up.

  • Go to twak.to site and to sign up there, just by clicking on the sign up for free button.
  • After going to the sign-up page, write your name, email address and add the password and click on the sign-up button.
  • Now choose your language to the united states and click on Create property.
  • After that, write the name of your site in the first box. Also, write the correct URL of your blog in the second box and give the name of the chat widget in the third text box. Just write the name of your site in the widget name box.
  • Click on Next Team member and hit on the Install widget.

#step2: Installing live chat widget

  • After clicking on the install widget, a page with the widget script will open. Leave everything as is and just copy the script of the chat widget.

  • Now move to your blogger dashboard. Click on the theme tab and Edit HTML.
  • Paste the chat script at the end of the code inside the body tag as shown in the below pic.

  • Now save the theme and take a look on your blogger site. You will see a green chat box at the left corner at the bottom of your site template.



#step3: Starting chat with visitors’ response.

Whenever any visitors come to your site, they will see a chat button. If they need to chat with you then they will click on the Chat button and in Start New conversation button. They will get a box to write their message.

  • When visitors send you a message with the live chat feature, you will get a notification through your browser from which you have signed up. Click on the notification or visit twak.to site to start a chat.
  • To start to chat with visitors, click on the Incoming tab on twak.to site. You will see the message of visitors there. To do chat, just click on the join button and start chatting with visitors in real-time.
